Houston police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred at 6700 Martin Luther King Boulevard about 11:40 p.m. last Friday (Feb. 22).
The identity of the female victim, 38, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant J. Benavidez and Officer F. Flynn reported:
The victim was driving a silver GMC Envoy northbound at the above address when she failed to maintain a single lane and struck two trees in the grassy median. She was pronounced dead at the scene. No other vehicles nor persons were involved in this crash.
The investigation is continuing.
