Houston police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash at 6400 Cullen Boulevard about 6:55 p.m. last Friday (November 12).
The identity of the male victim, 69, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant F. Briones and Officer D. Jones reported: The victim, a pedestrian, is believed to have been crossing the street with the assistance of a walking cane, and not in a crosswalk. A witness stated he was driving southbound at the above address when an unknown vehicle in front of him abruptly swerved to the left. The witness also swerved and then observed the victim lying in the roadway. There are no known additional witnesses.
