A man critically injured in an auto-pedestrian crash at 6200 Airline Drive about 8:45 p.m. on Saturday (August 11) has died from his injuries.
The identity of the victim, 52, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

The driver of a silver Nissan Xterra was traveling southbound on Airline Drive when a pedestrian failed to yield the right of way, crossed the street and was struck by the Nissan.. HFD paramedics transported the pedestrian to Memorial Hermann Greater Heights Hospital where doctors pronounced him deceased on Sunday (August 12).
The male driver of the Nissan remained at the scene, was questioned and released.
No charges have been filed as the investigation is continuing.
