Houston police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred in the 6100 block of Southwest Freeway (South U.S. Highway 59) service road 9:25 p.m. on Sunday (November 13).
The identity of the deceased male, 38, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant E. Alejandro and Officer R. Guzman reported:
The male, a pedestrian, was crossing the exit ramp on foot when a black Cadillac ATS traveling southbound at the above location struck him. Paramedics pronounced the male deceased at the scene.
The male driver of the Cadillac was questioned, determined not to be impaired and then released.
The investigation is ongoing.
