Investigation into Fatal Crash at 5000 Martin Luther King Boulevard

Houston police are investigating the fatal crash at 5000 Martin Luther King Boulevard about 10:25 p.m. on Tuesday (March 12).

The identity of the deceased male, 54, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Rose and Officer D. Thompson reported:

The male was driving a silver Volkswagen Beetle northbound at the above address when the vehicle left the roadway, struck a curb, two fences and then rolled over. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the driver deceased at the scene.

The investigation is continuing.
