Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 5000 Harrisburg Boulevard about 12:35 p.m. today (September 22).
The identity of the male victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant P. Lee and Officer N. Luu reported:
A Ford F-350 pickup truck, a Chevrolet Tahoe and a black Lexus ES330 were traveling eastbound on Harrisburg Boulevard when the driver of the Lexus (victim) possibly suffered a medical episode and failed to control his speed. The Lexus then struck the rear of the Tahoe and pushed it into the pickup truck. The Lexus then slowly rolled to the right of the Tahoe and struck the rear of the pickup truck and came to a stop.
The driver of the Lexus was transported to Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased.
No other persons were injured in this crash.
