Houston police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash at 4700 Fannin Street about 9:10 p.m. on Sunday (June 2).
The identity of the deceased male victim, 55, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
Two other male victims, 45 and 44 years old, were transported to area hospitals in serious condition.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant Y. Ramirez and Officer R. Young reported:
A silver BMW 650i was traveling westbound on Blodgett Street when it was struck by a tan, four-door sedan (unknown make and model) traveling southbound on Fannin Street. The tan vehicle then struck a curb, went up onto a sidewalk and struck three pedestrians. The driver of the tan vehicle fled the scene without stopping to render aid.
Paramedics pronounced one of the pedestrians deceased and transported the two others to hospitals.
