Investigation into Fatal Crash at 4700 Bliss Street

Houston police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash at 4700 Bliss Street about 7:10 p.m. on November 10.

The identity of the male victim, 65, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant F. Briones and Officer F. Serna reported:

The victim was walking in a crosswalk at the above address when he was struck by an unknown vehicle.  The driver fled the scene without stopping to render aid.  The victim was transported by Houston Fire Department paramedics to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
