HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant A. Thomas and Officer M. Flynn reported:
The victim was driving a black Ford Fusion at the above address when her vehicle stalled in the main lanes. As the vehicle was sitting in a lane of traffic, not moving, the driver of a silver Nissan Pathfinder did not see the stalled vehicle, swerved and struck the right passenger side of the Ford. The victim then got out of her vehicle to survey the damage and exchange information with the driver of the Nissan. As the victim was standing outside her vehicle, the driver of a black Mitsubishi Galant also did not see the stalled Ford and stuck the left rear of the vehicle. The victim, who was standing outside her vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene. The drivers of the Galant and Pathfinder were questioned and released.
The investigation is continuing.
