Houston police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred at 4200 Bellaire Boulevard about 7 a.m. on Monday (Feb. 24).
The identity of the deceased male, 68, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Officer H. Nguyen reported:
The victim was driving a Mazda CX3 eastbound at the above address when he drove onto the median and struck a tree. The driver was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased today (Feb. 25).
The investigation is continuing.
