Houston police are investigating the fatal crash that occurred in the 400 block of Gessner Road about 6:50 p.m. on Saturday (August 1).
The deceased male is identified as Malik Foster, 22.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant V. Vo and Officer R. Ramos reported:
Witnesses stated a red Honda C9R500 motorcycle was traveling southbound on Gessner Road at a high rate of speed and struck a blue Nissan Pathfinder. The Pathfinder was leaving the stop sign at Beauregard Drive when the motorcycle struck it. Responding Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the motorcyclist deceased at the scene.
The driver of the Nissan was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
