| Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 3800 Victory Drive about 1:15 a.m. on Saturday (May 7).
The identity of the deceased male, 57, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant R. Dunn and Officer J. Johnson reported:
The male was driving a blue Chevrolet C15 eastbound at the above address when, for unknown reasons, he veered off the roadway. The vehicle then drove through a residential wood fence and struck a detached garage, where it came to a stop. Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the driver deceased.
It is believed the driver may have suffered a medical episode prior to the crash.
The investigation is continuing.
