| Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 3000 Kingwood Drive about 2:50 a.m. on Sunday (August 18).
The identity of the male victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant J. Benavidez and Officer G. Anderson reported:
The victim was operating a black Kawasaki 1000 motorcycle and was at a stop sign on Lake Crescent Drive facing northbound at the intersection of Kingwood Drive. As the motorcycle proceeded into the intersection, it was struck by a gray Chevrolet Camaro traveling eastbound on Kingwood Drive. The victim died at the scene. The female driver of the Camaro, who was determined not to be impaired, was questioned and released.
The investigation is continuing.
