Houston police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred at 300 North Sam Houston Parkway East service road about 8:15 a.m. on Wednesday (October 23).
The male victim, 58, was transported to an area hospital where he later died.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant K. Harris and Officer M. Tamez reported:
The victim was driving a white Ford F-250 pickup truck westbound at the above address when he suffered an apparent medical episode, failed to maintain a single lane, and left the roadway where he crashed into a business sign. He was transported to HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest in critical condition.
The investigation is continuing.
