| Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 2900 North Loop West (North Interstate Highway 610 West) about 10:35 p.m. on Tuesday (October 24).
The identity of the deceased male. 20, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Griffiths and Officer J. Best reported:
A witness stated the male was operating a red Honda motorcycle at a high rate of speed eastbound on the freeway at the above address. He lost control of the motorcycle, left the roadway, struck a concrete pillar and was ejected from the motorcycle. Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the male deceased.
No other persons or vehicles were involved in this crash. The investigation is continuing.
