Houston police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred at 2500 South Barker Cypress Road about 3:20 p.m. last Friday (Oct. 11).
The identity of the male victim, 22, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant F. Briones and Officer C. Dinh reported:
The victim was driving a silver Honda Accord southbound on Barker Cypress at a high rate of speed when he left the roadway and went into a ditch. The vehicle then struck a concrete water drain. The victim was transported via Life Flight Helicopter to Memorial Hermann Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
