| A man involved in a crash at 2400 North Loop West (North Interstate Highway 610 Loop West) about 4:25 p.m. on December 5 has died.
The identity of the male victim, 68, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant J. Ogden and North Patrol Division Officer J. Scaggs reported:
The victim was driving a black Nissan Versa westbound on the North Loop West and struck the rear of a maroon Nissan Juke, also traveling westbound on the freeway. When officers arrived on scene, the victim appeared to be suffering from a medical episode. Paramedics transported him to Memorial Hermann Greater Heights Hospital. He was later transported to Memorial Hermann Memorial City Hospital where he was pronounced deceased on Monday (December 9).
The investigation is continuing.
