Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 2300 Little York Road about 4:45 p.m. on Monday (Nov. 7).
The identity of the deceased male, 32, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant S. Jewell and Officer N. Duval reported: The male, a pedestrian, was crossing the street – not in a crosswalk – at the above address when he was struck by a red GMC Sierra 1500 pickup truck traveling in the eastbound lanes. Paramedics transported the pedestrian to Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital where he was pronounced deceased. Witnesses stated that when a vehicle in front of the GMC abruptly stopped, the GMC’s driver went around it on the right side and struck the pedestrian. The female driver, 31, showed no signs of impairment and was questioned and released. The investigation is continuing. JFC/SOA 11-8-22 Inc #150855022-A
