| Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 2100 Memorial Drive about 2:15 a.m. today (May 8).
The identity of the deceased woman, 38, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Rose and Officer J. Johnson reported:
The woman was driving a gray BMW X4 at a high rate of speed westbound near the above address when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree. The driver was ejected from the vehicle. Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the woman deceased.
No other persons or vehicles were involved in this crash.
