Houston police have learned a male injured in an auto-pedestrian crash at 200 West Canino Road about 7:20 p.m. on February 16 has died.
The identity of the deceased male, 64, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant R. Dallas and Officers A. Thomas and G. Esparza reported:
The victim was standing in the westbound lanes of traffic when he was struck by an unknown vehicle. The pedestrian (victim) was transported to an area hospital where, on March 9, he was pronounced deceased.
The driver of the vehicle fled the scene and did not stop to render aid. The investigation is continuing.
