Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 1900 West 34th street about 8:05 p.m. on Saturday (May 24).
The deceased woman is identified as Miriam Usry, 82.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant E. Alejandro and J. Trevino and HPD North Patrol Division Officers reported:
A blue Ford F150 was traveling eastbound at the above address when a Honda Accord was exiting a private driveway northbound onto West 34th street. The Honda did not yield the right of way and the pickup truck struck it.
Paramedics transported the driver of the Honda to an area hospital in critical condition. Doctors later pronounced her deceased.
The female driver, 20, of the pickup truck was not injured.
