| Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 1800 Dixie Farm Road about 1:40 a.m. on Saturday (March 30).
The deceased female is identified as Marissa Romain, 17.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant J. Richards and Officer F. Flynn reported:
The female was driving a 2009 black Mitsubishi Galant eastbound near the above address when she struck a curb and lost control of the vehicle. The Mitsubishi veered to the right, where it struck a concrete ditch and a tree. The driver was partially ejected from the vehicle.
Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the female driver, later identified as Ms. Romain, deceased at the scene.
No other vehicles were involved in this crash.
