| Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 16001 Cotillion Drive about 3 p.m. on Monday (March 21).
The identity of the female victim, 20, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant P. Lee and Officer A. Mares reported:
A black Honda Accord was traveling eastbound on Aldine Bender Road and made a left turn at the intersection of Cotillion Drive. A black Hyundai Elantra was traveling westbound on Aldine Bender and struck the Honda. The Honda spun and struck a gray Mercury Mariner traveling eastbound on Aldine Bender. The driver and passenger in the Honda were transported to an area hospital where the passenger, the driver’s daughter, was pronounced deceased. The drivers of the Mercury and the Hyundai were not injured.
At this time, it has not been determined who was at-fault in the crash.
No charges have been filed at this time, as the investigation is continuing.
