Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 1600 South Highway 6 about 11:25 a.m. on Saturday (March 26).
The identity of the male victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant F. Briones reported:
The victim was driving a white Honda Accord at the above address. He was attempting to turn eastbound on Briar Forest Drive when a red Chrysler 200 ran a red light and struck the Honda. Houston Fire Department paramedics transported the victim to the hospital in critical condition.
Doctors pronounced the victim deceased on Thursday (March 31).
No charges have been fled at this time, as the investigation is continuing.
