Investigation into Fatal Crash at 15500 U.S. Highway 90

Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 15500 U.S. Highway 90 about 12:30 a.m. on Sunday (April 21).  

The identity of the deceased male is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant R. Dallas and Officer T. Johnson reported:

The driver of a black Nissan Altima was traveling westbound near the above address.  The male was walking in the roadway with a dog on a leash and was struck by the Nissan. The male was also struck by a gray Kia Sorrento and a black Honda Accord. The dog was not struck.

Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the male deceased. The males drivers of all three vehicles remained at the scene and were determined not to be impaired.  They were questioned and released.

The dog was transported to a shelter by members of City of Houston BARC.

The investigation is continuing.
