| Houston police have learned a woman critically injured in a crash at 14800 Katy Freeway (West Interstate Highway 10) about 11 p.m. on November 21 has died.
The identity of the female, 25, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Griffiths and Officer J. Johnson reported:
The female was driving a white Hyundai Sonata westbound near the above address when she made an unsafe lane and struck a white and blue tractor -trailer truck. Both vehicles came to a stop in the freeway HOV lanes.
Paramedics transported the female to Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center in critical condition. Doctors pronounced her deceased last Friday (November 24).
The male driver, 61, of the tractor-trailer truck remained at the scene and was determined not to be impaired. He was questioned and released.
The investigation is continuing.
