Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 14700 Fondren Road about 10 p.m. on Wednesday (Aug. 12).
The identity of the male victim, 41, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Griffiths and Officer J. Best reported:
The victim was driving a green Ford Taurus northbound at the above address when he failed to maintain a single lane, left the roadway and struck a tree in the grassy median. The victim was ejected from the driver’s side door and landed in the roadway. Paramedics pronounced him deceased on the scene.
The investigation is continuing.
