Houston police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash that occurred in the 1400 block of Tidwell Road about 1:15 a.m. on Wednesday (April 29).
The identity of the deceased male is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant M. Sudduth and Officer J. Johnson reported:
An unknown vehicle was traveling westbound at the above address when the vehicle struck a pedestrian who was walking in a moving lane of traffic. The vehicle fled the scene.
The pedestrian was transported to an area hospital where doctors pronounced him deceased.
