| Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 1400 North Sam Houston Parkway East service road about 12:45 a.m. today (September 10).
The identity of the male victim, 40, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant P. Pham and Officer V. Nguyen reported:
The victim was operating a red Harley-Davidson motorcycle eastbound on the service road when he lost control and struck the curb at the freeway entrance ramp. The victim was ejected and pronounced deceased at the scene by Houston Fire Department paramedics.
No other vehicles or persons were involve din this crash.
