Houston police are investigating the fatal crash that occurred at 1400 Gears Road about 9:40 p.m. on Saturday (May 31).
The deceased male is identified as Rondarias Williams, 28.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant R. Dallas and Officer V. Taylor reported:
A green Kawasaki dirt bike was traveling eastbound at the above address when the male operator ran the red light and struck a black Ford F150 in the intersection. The Ford F150 was traveling westbound attempting to turn left onto Greens Parkway. The operator of the dirt bike was ejected and struck a gray Acura RDX.
The operator of the Kawasaki was pronounced dead at the scene by Houston Fire Department paramedics
The male driver of the Ford and the male driver of the Acura remained at the scene, and were determined not to be impaired. They were questioned and released.
The investigation is ongoing.
