| Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 13700 U.S. Highway 90 about 5:40 a.m. on Sunday (July 4).
The identity of the male victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Rodriguez and Officer J. Wu reported:
A red Honda Accord was traveling southbound at the above address when the victim, a pedestrian, crossed the main lanes and was struck by the Honda. The victim died at the scene. After the initial crash, the female driver of the Honda stopped and got out of her vehicle to check on the victim. The Honda was then struck by a silver Mitsubishi SUV. No one was injured in that crash.
No charges have been filed at this time, as the investigation is continuing.
