| Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 12900 Northwest Freeway (U.S. Highway 290) about 11:40 a.m. today (October 4).
The identity of the male victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant L. Ross and Officer L. Ho reported:
According to witnesses, the driver of a tractor trailer truck was traveling eastbound on the Northwest Freeway near the above address when the victim intentionally jumped from a bridge to the freeway below and was struck by the truck.
No other persons or vehicles were involved in the crash.
The investigation is continuing.
