Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 12500 Clinton Drive about 7:25 a.m. today (Dec. 3).
The identity of the deceased male, 48, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant K. Harris and Officer A. Hart reported:
The male was operating a black Kawasaki motorcycle at a high rate of speed eastbound at the above address when he attempted to pass a white 18-wheeler tractor trailer (also traveling eastbound) on its right side. As the truck driver was attempting to make a wide right turn into a business driveway, the motorcycle struck the truck.
Paramedics were called and pronounced the motorcyclist deceased at the scene.
The male truck driver was questioned and released.
The investigation is continuing.
