| Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 12000 North Freeway (North Interstate Highway 45) about 11:45 p.m. on Thursday (April 28).
The identity of the deceased male is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant P. Pham and Officer V. Nguyen reported:
The male was operating a black Yamaha motorcycle northbound at a high rate of speed and weaving through traffic near the above address. The motorcyclist then exited to the eastbound ramp to the North Sam Houston Parkway East. At that time, the motorcycle struck the concrete retaining wall, ejecting the male to a grassy field below. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the male deceased.
No other persons or vehicles were involved in this crash. The investigation is continuing.
