Houston police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred at 11401 South Post Oak about 1:50 p.m. on Monday (April 2).
The identity of the male victim, 58, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant M. Warhol and Officer N. Luu reported:
The driver of a silver Cadillac DeVille was traveling southbound at the above address when he failed to control his speed and struck the rear of a silver GMC pickup truck. The truck then struck several other vehicles. Both drivers and a female passenger, 66, in the GMC were transported to an area hospital. The driver of the truck was later pronounced dead.
There are no charges in this incident at this time. The investigation is continuing.
