Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 11300 Hirsch Road about 2:15 p.m. on Sunday (Feb. 7).
The identity of the male victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant S. Jewell and Officer E. Clark reported:
The victim was operating a green Suzuki motorcycle and traveling northbound at the above address as a black Chevrolet Tahoe was traveling southbound on the street. When the driver of the Chevrolet made a left turn onto Guadalupe Street, the motorcycle struck the truck. Paramedics pronounced the motorcyclist deceased at the scene.
The male driver, 18, of the truck was questioned, did not show signs of intoxication and was released pending further investigation.
The investigation is continuing.
