Houston police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash involving a pedestrian found at 10600 Tanner Road about 9:35 a.m. today (August 5).
The identity of the male victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant S. Maness and Officer H. Nguyen reported:
A witness observed a body on the side of the road at the northeast corner of Tanner and the Sam Houston Parkway. Responding investigators determined the victim had been walking in an unknown direction when he was struck by an unknown vehicle.
