| Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 10600 John F. Kennedy Boulevard about 12:40 a.m. today (September 10).
The identity of the male victim, 40, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Griffiths and Officer J. Best reported:
The driver of a silver Acura RDX was traveling westbound near the above address when, for unknown reasons, the vehicle left the roadway. The Acura then traveled downhill on a grassy median and flipped on its side. Paramedics transported the driver to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
A preliminary investigation and medical examination determined the victim suffered a medical issue prior to the crash.
The investigation is continuing.
