| Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 10000 South Main Street about 8:55 p.m. on Wednesday (October 20).
The identities of the male, 62, and female ,49, victims are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant P. Pham and Officer T. Smith reported:
A gray Dodge Ram pickup truck was traveling southbound near the above address. The victims attempted to cross the street – not in a crosswalk – and were struck by the pickup truck. Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the sceen and pronounced the victims deceased.
The male driver, 60, of the pickup truck remained at the scene and was determined not to be impaired. He was questioned and released.
There are no charges at this time, as the investigation is continuing.
