Houston police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash at 10000 Bellaire Boulevard about 7:25 p.m. on Thursday (Nov. 7).
The identity of the deceased male, 34, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant J. Richards and Westside Patrol Division officers reported:
A preliminary investigation indicates the male, a pedestrian, was walking in or across the roadway at the above address when he was struck by an unknown vehicle travelling in the westbound lanes. The driver left the scene without stopping to render aid. Paramedics transported the male to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
