| Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 100 Travis Street at 12:05 a.m. on Saturday (October 17).
The identity of the male victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Rose and Officer C. Brothers reported:
The victim was operating a black Harley Davidson Softail motorcycle northbound near the above address and accelerated as he approached the entrance ramp to the North Freeway (North Interstate Highway 45). The victim lost control of the motorcycle as he passed the intersection of Girard and struck a curb. The victim was ejected and died at the scene.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
