| Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 17200 Tomball Parkway (State Highway 249) service road about 3 p.m. on Saturday (November 6).
The identity of the male victim, 41, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant G. Clark and Officer W. Smith reported:
Witnesses stated the victim was operating a black Harley Davidson motorcycle at a high rate of speed northbound on the Tomball Parkway service road and tried to changes lanes to take the entrance ramp to the Tomball Parkway. The motorcycle struck the curb that separates the ramp from the service road and flipped over several times. The victim was transported by paramedics to HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest where he was pronounced deceased.
No other persons or vehicles were involved in the crash. The investigation is continuing.
