The investigation into the death of a male found at 6523 Thrush Drive about 1:10 p.m. on Saturday (February 5) is pending autopsy results.
The identity and cause of death of the male, 63, is pending autopsy results by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Sergeant B. Roberts and Detective L. Lange reported:
HPD patrol officers were called to the above address after Houston Fire Department personnel responded to a house fire at the above address. After the fire was extinguished, the victim was discovered inside the detached garage of the residence. According to family members, the detached garage had been converted into living quarters and was the residence of the deceased male. No signs of foul play were discovered and the investigation is pending the victim’s cause of death and the official cause of the fire determined by the Houston Fire Departments Arson Division.
