Houston police are investigating the death of a man found at 400 Franklin Street about 6:30 a.m. on Saturday (June 3).
The identity of the man is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. Duncan and Detective L. Lovelace reported:HPD patrol officers responded to the above address after a passing motorist found the male unresponsive. It appears the victim, believed to be homeless, had suffered severe blunt force trauma. Responding Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.
An autopsy by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences will determine the man’s cause of death. At this time there is no known motive or suspect(s).
