Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a female found at 3138 Old Spanish Trail about 10:40 a.m. on Wednesday (Dec. 18).
The identity of the deceased female, 36, and her cause of death are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Holbrook and Officer J. Roscoe reported:
Officers responded to the Econo Lodge Motel at the above address after the victim suffered an apparent medical emergency and was pronounced dead at the scene. At this time is unknown how the victim sustained injuries that were present on her body.
