Houston police are investigating the death of a female that occurred at 3400 Dennis at about 6:10 a.m. today (May 5).
The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. Burton reported:
Witnesses called 9-1-1 after observing the female victim staggering in the street and then collapsing. Officers arrived and found the victim had a wound to her torso. She was then transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where she was pronounced deceased.
