Houston police are investigating the assault of a man at 600 Girard Street about 5:25 p.m. on Saturday (December 12).
The victim, Noah Huber-Bornemann, 22, was transported to an area hospital in an unknown condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detectives M. Combs and M. Althaus reported:
According to the suspect and witnesses, Mr. Huber-Bornemann, approached the suspect wanting to fight. He then reportedly struck the suspect in the knee with an unknown object. The suspect then struck Huber-Bornemann in the head with a club. The suspect remained at the scene, was detained, questioned and released.
There are no charges in this incident, pending further investigation.
