Houston police are investigating the assault of a male at 3107 Brackenridge about 6 p.m. on Thursday (July 11).
The victim was transported to an area hospital in an unknown condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers A. Barker and M. Combs reported:
HPD patrol officers and Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the 3500 block of Englewood after a passerby found the victim severely injured and called 9-1-1. The victim was transported by paramedics to an area hospital with multiple fractures and lacerations.
Further investigation determined a family member of the victim entered the victim’s residence at the above address and assaulted him with a blunt object over a prior dispute. The suspect then placed the victim in the bed of his pickup truck and left him at a bus stop in the 3500 block of Englewood.
The suspect remains at large. No charges have been filed at this time, pending further investigation.
