| Houston police are investigating the assault of a man at 1300 Lansing Street that occurred about 5:35 p.m. on Monday (February 8).
The victim, Josue Cardona, 29, was transported to an area hospital in an unknown condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers A. Merino and M. Deleon reported:
Mr. Cardona got into an altercation with an unknown group of males at the above address. A tan truck of unknown make and model suddenly arrived at a high rate of speed on Lansing Street and struck Cardona. The vehicle and driver then fled the location. Houston Fire Department paramedics transported Cardona to the hospital.
