Houston police are investigating the assault of a man that occurred at 3805 Sherwood Lane #43 about 10:30 p.m. on Monday (January 7).
The victim, Fidel Hernandez Valeriano, 26, suffered a laceration to his arm and was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detectives C. Bowling and A. Hernandez reported:
Mr. Valeriano stated he and a male he knew began arguing over how loud the music Valeriano was playing in his car. The suspect then began assaulting Valeriano before breaking an apartment window and using the glass to cut his arm.
Valeriano then fled the scene to the 13100 block of South Post Oak Road where he crashed into a building. Valeriano told investigators he was trying to reach his employer’s home to have him call for help and must have passed out before crashing.
Currently, there are no charges in this incident as the investigation is continuing.
